A foreigner in town..

Hello Hondaklubben,

My name is Simone, but I'm a man , from Italy and from akmost 3 years I moved in Göteborg for work.

I m enthusiastic of Honda World and I would like to join in your community, join in carmeeting, chatting about cars, to exchange ideas and advices and join in trackdays!
I would like to spend time in workshop/garage where fix and setup the car but until now I was not able to find any in city and/or outside (if somebody would rent one, tell me )

I was to Japdays and met some of you, sorry i don't remember the names. but i was happy to have bought the hoodie and the shirt of the club and i appreciated a lot for the burger

At the moment I have two Civic, a rio red EE9 and a grey EP3.
the first one is still in Italy and the second one I bought last summer here in Sweden.

I would like to become a member of the club and if I'm not wrong there was a discount for who show the ticket of jap days, right?

Yeah finding a garage can be difficult... I'm quite new to Gothenburg myself so I don't know of anything available. You could try a post on Blocket or Facebook Marketplace to begin with. Other Gothenburg members here might have some ideas...

Hi, i want upload this thread because I'm looking for suggestions for my EP3, please.

Since the winter, the rust is started to spread in rear fenders and maybe also in other parts that I cannot see.
Moreover the car needs to refresh some parts like silent blocks, supports, endlinks of steering wheels, etc.. I have a spot in a garage to make maintenance but as I am not a mechain I would need some advice and help.
For the rust I guess it is needed of someone more expert. But first of all, I would need the some suggestion if remove the rust is worth it.
I like this car and when I bought it my idea was to enjoy driving in trackdays, but now I am not sure if it is still a good deal to fix it.
My problem is that I don't know anybody in Göteborg. The only thing I can do is to search for a car workshop on Google and I don't know if it is trustable.
So I was wondering if there is someone living in GBG that can give a look at the car and give me some advices. Also if you can suggest me a place or someone that does this kind of reparations for job or hobby (by compensation of course)

You should talk to Styrbjörn at Olskrokens bilverkstad, that’s a Honda Shop and he should probably know somebody that could help you in the Gbg area.
